Gertie Earl

Marion Gertie L. Earl, 86, of Madisonville, Kentucky formerly of Marion, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 10:45 A.M. at the Oak Ridge Retirement Home in Madisonville. Gertie was born March 5, 1924 in Marion the daughter of Guy & Kate (Lowe) Key. She married William Earl on November 29, 1947 in Marion and together they shared 40 years of marriage until his death on October 13, 1987. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include; Daughter Kay Buskov and husband Kenneth of Madisonville, Kentucky Grandson Andrew Buskov and wife Kristie of Madisonville, Kentucky Great Grandchild - Christian Buskov of Madisonville, Kentucky Step Great Grandchildren - Kendall Basham of Madisonville, Kentucky Abby Auman of Fischers, Indiana Sister Betty Richey of Marion Preceded by Parents, Husband, Four Sisters and Three Brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Frank Stevenson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
