Marion - Gilbert L. Gib Drury, 62, passed away Friday, June 10, 2005 at 10:15 A.M. at Herrin Hospital. Gib was born October 27, 1942 to Jesse & Marie (Evans) Drury in Marion. Gib was an electrician at Southern Illinois University. He was a member of IBEW Local #702 and Cedar Grove Church. Gib is survived by: Son Greg Drury of Marion Two Daughters: Julie & Danny Beasley of Columbia, IL Brandy & Brent Nolen of North Aurora, IL Four Grandchildren: Amber Ray Tyler Glodjo Jarrod Beasley Aubrey Nolen Brother Randall & Carol Drury of Inverness, FL Sister Beverly & Robert Souders of Alcoa, TN Special Cousin Lowell Jeter of Marion Several Nieces & Nephews and Great Nieces & Nephews Preceded by: Parents, Sister Janette Nance Funeral services will be Monday, June 13, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Robert Souders and Pastor Danny Beasley officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
