Gladys Capps

Herrin- GLADYS CAPPS, age 89, of Butler, PA, formerly of Herrin, passed away at 9:40pm on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the VNA Inpatient Hospice of Butler, PA. Gladys was born in Straightsville, Ohio on December 27, 1920, the daughter of the late Matthew and Elizabeth (Price) Carr. Gladys moved from Herrin to Butler, PA with her husband, Paul, in 1963. She worked for Montgomery Wards in Butler for twenty years. She was a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include: Son- Richard Capps of Butler, PA Grandson- Larry and Charlotte Capps of Naperville, IL Three granddaughters- Holly Bonfanti of MO Sheila and Lester Gray of Collinsville, IL Melinda and Dustin Pendall of Collinsville, IL 11 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents, husband- Paul, and her son- Paul David Capps, Jr. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Duane Faulkenberry officiating. Burial will follow at Denning Cemetery in Orient. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, July 30, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
