Glendora Winklepleck

Marion- Glendora Glen Winklepleck, 69, of Marion, formerly of Hammond, IN, passed away at 3:20 AM, Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Glendora was born on September 21, 1937 in Marion to Leo & Azalene (Edwards) Warren. She was a homemaker who, despite losing her eyesight, raised seven children. She enjoyed taped correspondence with others and listening to Dan Koonce novels. She was a protestant and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. SURVIVORS: Son- Darryl Newbolds- Marion Son & daughter in law- Jerry & Linda Newbolds- Marion Son & daughter in law- Kevin & Tina Newbolds- Huntsville, AL Daughter & son in law- Mary & Keith Miner- Marion Daughter & son in law- Debbie & Mike Margis- Portage, IN Daughter & son in law- Brenda & Charles Robinson- Hammond, IN Daughter & son in law- Linda & Scott Wright- Paducah, KY Seventeen Grandchildren Sixteen Grandchildren plus one on the way Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents and half sister, Florene Palmer. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 18, 2006 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service Saturday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home. Memorial donations are suggested to the family and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
