Marion Gordon Lee Mifflin, 80, of Marion formerly of Zeigler, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 11:26 A.M. at the VA Medical Center in Marion. Gordon was born February 28, 1925 to Harry & Electia (Prather) Mifflin in Pittsburg. Gordon was a retired Manager at Citgo in Johnson City. He was a WWII Army Veteran. Survivors include: Daughter Nancy & Tim Moore, Lake of Egypt Two Grandchildren: Crysta & Brian Herrell of Johnston City Aaron Moore of Lake of Egypt Two Great-Grandchildren: Madison Herrell of Johnston City Gavin Herrell of Johnston City Two Brothers: Donald & Carolyn Mifflin of Salem, Oregon Charlie Mifflin of Springfield, IL One Sister: Suzy Spezia of Herrin Several Nieces & Nephews Preceded by: Parents, Infant Son Warren Lee Mifflin, Brother Gerald Dink Mifflin Funeral services will be Sunday, July 24, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Don Eberhart officiating. Burial will follow in New Spring Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
