Grady Dryden

Hurst- GRADY DALE DRYDEN, age 78, of Hurst, passed away at 5:00am on Friday, August 18, 2006 at his residence in Hurst. Grady was born in Hurst on February 13, 1928 to Ray and Martha (Petty) Dryden. He married Ruby Livingston in Blairsville on May 29, 1948 and together they shared 58 years of marriage. She survives in Hurst. Mr. Dryden owned and operated Grady Dryden Trucking for over fifty years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hurst. Survivors include- Wife- Ruby Dryden- Hurst, IL Daughter- Vickie Wallace- Marion, IL Daughter and Son-In-Law- Cindy and David Fowler- Hurst, IL Six Grandchildren- Vickie and Chris Gish- Robards, KY Amanda Wallace- Marion, IL Mike Wallace- Springfield, IL Tami and Andy Snyder- Paducah, KY Johnny Dale Dryden- Energy, IL Lori Fowler- Hurst, IL One Great Granddaughter- Kira Gish- Robards, KY Mr. Dryden was preceded in death by his parents and one son- Wesley Dryden. Arrangements are being handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Private family services will be held.
