Marion- Gregory C. Miller, age 66, of Marion, died at 8:23 AM, Saturday, May 31, 2003, at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Greg was born on November 17, 1936 in Herrin to Clell & Elsie (Gregory) Miller. HE married Sharon Ragain on August 26, 1961 in Marion. She preceded him in death on August 26, 1987. Greg married Judith Ann Hill on October 8, 1988 in Marion. She survives of Marion. He graduated from Herrin High School in 1954 and then from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. Mr. Miller was employed by Abbott Labs as a medical equipment representative. He was a member of First Baptist Church. . SURVIVORS: Wife- Judy Miller-Marion Three Daughters, Daughter-Lisa Miller of Nashville, Tenn. Daughter-Tracy Herbert & husband Dave of St. Louis, Mo. Step-Daughter-Stacey Grinnell & husband Shane of Kansas City, Mo. Two Sons, Son-Jeff Miller & wife Debbie of St. Louis, Mo. Step-Son-Brad Hill & wife Debbie of Nashville, Tenn. Nine Grandchildren: Clayton Hill, Nicholas Herbert, Colton Hill Katie Herbert, Drake Grinnell, Jackson Hill Conner Miller, Abbie Miller, Sage Grinnell Special Friend- Joyce Pearce Mother in law- Betty Beal- Carrier Mills He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife; Sharon. The funeral service will be at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 5, 2003. Rev. Jeff Baker will officiate. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association and will be accepted at the funeral home.
