Marion Harley Brush, Jr., 77, passed away on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
Harley was born July 28, 1930 in Williamson County. He married Daphene McGowan on September 14, 1952 in Marion and together they have shared over 54 years of marriage. Daphene survives in Marion.
Harley was a retired coal miner, working for Amax-Delta Mines. He has attended the Aldersgate United Methodist Church for over 40 years and was a member of the UMWA. Harley and Daphene loved Marion and SIU basketball. Harley and his son Gary farmed and raised beef cattle in Johnson County.

Preceded by Parents, Sister, Maxine Klope.
Funeral services will be Sunday, August 26, 2007 at 3:30 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Chris Cutsinger, Rev. Jerry Schell and Cheryl Baugh officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday evening from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes.
