Marion Haskell Hunter, 91, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2008 at 2:01 P.M. at Fountains Nursing Care Center.
Haskell was born January 10, 1917 the daughter of Wesley and Ada (Wheeler) Reagan in Mounds. She married Charles Pearce in July of 1935 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 1946, she then married Walter William Hunter on April 26, 1946 in Marion and together they shared 50 years of marriage until his death on April 16, 2002.
Haskell operated Haskells Beauty Shop in Marion for over 40 years. She was a member of the Warder Street Baptist Church, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, where she had served as President and District President.

Preceded by her Parents, Husbands, Son Don Pearce, Two Daughters Charlotte Hilliard and Janet Coats, Brother Harry Summers, Granddaughter Christine Mondus.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 6, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Ken Hilliard officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
