Marion Helen (Raglin) Walker, age 79 of Marion passed away on April 6, 2010 at the home of Dale and Debbie Arnold. She was surrounded by loved ones.
Helen was born on October 12, 1930 in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to parents Raymond (Ray) and Pearl (Groves) Raglin.
In 1949 she married Wayne L. Walker and they had two children, Jerry W. Walker and Debra L. (Walker) Arnold.
In 1964 Helen received her cosmetology license where she worked from her home and later went back to school and received her cosmetology instructors license and then taught at the Marion Beauty College from 1973 1976.
In 1985 Helen went to work for the Franklin-Williamson County Workshop located in West Frankfort where she worked until she retired in 1992.
Helen was loved by all who knew her and was a woman who loved her family and helping those in need. She will truly be missed!

Grandchildren Tresa Miller, Lisa Robinson, Jerrod Walker, Dianna Kent, John Wesley Walker, Heather Clark, Quentin Arnold and Brandy Buffington
Great Grandchildren Kaylee Zukas, Wyatt Maze, Ethan Maze, Cheyenne Walker, Nichole Kent, Abbie Kent, Gage Kent, Lanie Kent, Blake Clark, Devin Clark, Cameron Clark, Madison Arnold, Peatin Arnold, Taylar Parrish, Colton Lezu, and Hayden Lezu
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Pearl Raglin, Brother Charles (Sonny) Raglin, Great Granddaughter Lilly Walker and Nephew Terry Raglin.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Noon at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dale Arnold officiating. Entombment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 11 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
