Helen Marie Parks

Creal Springs Helen Marie Parks, 90, died Monday, December 13, 2004 at 4:20 A.M. at the Fountains Nursing Care Facility in Marion. Helen was born October 26, 1914 to Ollie and Eddie Lee (Estes) Parton in Creal Springs. She married Theodore W. Parks and he precedes her in death. Helen was a homemaker and a member of Arnold View Freewill Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed her church. She loved to sing and play the piano. Helen is survived by: Grandchildren: LeeAnn Hilliard Castagna of Helper, Utah Melody Parks of Chicago, IL Kenneth Parks of San Diego, California Keith Parks of Marion Great Grandchildren: Brandon Parks Joseph Castagna Dakota Castagna Numerous Nieces and Nephews Many Close Friends Preceded by: Parents, Husband, Daughter Virginia, Son Richard, Brothers; Ben Parton, Charles Parton, Herman Parton, Fred Parton and Sisters; Eva Parton Davis, Ethel Parton Sullivan, Opal Parton Kelly. Funeral services will be Friday, December 17, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Ivan Ryan officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
