Helen Moore

Helen F. Moore, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 5:33 P.M. at Herrin Hospital. Helen was born July 1, 1920 in Herrin the daughter of Shellie and Anna (Nelson) Faughn. She married William E. Moore on March 20, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and together they shared over 63 years of marriage until his death on June 5, 2006. She retired from the Bank of Herrin and was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church. Survivors include; Sister Margaret Faughn of Herrin Sister-in-law Norma Jean Faughn of Jackson, Missouri Two nieces; Sandy Kinne and husband Ed of Mt. Horeb, Wisconsin Cheryl Rodenberry and husband Darrel of Jackson, Missouri Nephew Steve Faughn and wife Mary of Vienna Several Great Nieces and Nephews Several Cousins Preceded by her Parents and Brother Robert Faughn. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Kallem officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Marion Third Baptist Church.
