Herrin- HERBERT PHILLIPS, age 89, of Herrin, passed away on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at his home in Herrin. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 5, 2007 at Herrin City Cemetery. Friends and family are asked to gather directly at the cemetery. A eulogy will be given by Mr. Greg Phillips. Military honors will be performed by Herrin's VFW and American Legion posts.
