Herbert Wayne White

Herbert Wayne White, 68, of Johnston City, passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 6 pm at his home. Herbert was born June 25, 1947 in Herrin the son of James Herbert and Lenore Murel (Norman) White.  He married Kimberly Odum on October 27, 2000 in Crab Orchard and together they have shared over 15 years of marriage, she survives in Johnston City. His working career was as a self-employed carpenter.  Herbert was a lifetime member of the NRA and he currently was serving as the secretary for the Egyptian Rifle and Pistol Club. In addition to his wife he is survived by his; Daughter – Michaelle Long and husband Harold of Georgia Son – Christopher White of Gunnison, Colorado Daughter – Marcia Emrick and husband Ivan of Sterling, Colorado Step-Daughter – Karrie Harris and husband Kevin of Creal Springs Step-Son – James Rian Clarida of West Frankfort Step-Daughter – Rebecca Clarida of Johnston City Step-Son – Thomas Clarida of Johnston City Four Grandchildren Three Great Grandchildren Four Step Grandchildren Sister – Vicki Brady of West Frankfort Several nieces and nephews Several cousins Preceded by his Parents, two grandchildren – Tyler White and Trae Shoemake. Memorial visitation will be Saturday, November 7, 2015 from 11 am – 1 pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
