Hilda "Jane" Murray

West Frankfort- Hilda Jane Murray, 84, of West Frankfort, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2010 at her daughters home in West Frankfort. Jane was born on April 24, 1925 in Cambria to Israel & Gettie (Hampton) Waldron. She married Ralph Murray in 1931. He preceded her in death on March 17, 1989. Mrs. Murray was retired having formerly worked at Smoller Bros. in Herrin, General Telephone in Chicago and Mark Twain and the boat factory in West Frankfort. She was a member of Freeman Spur Baptist Church. Survivors include- Daughter- Tina Agnitsch and husband Robert of West Frankfort Son- Gary Murray & wife Connie of Mesa, AZ Grandchildren-Austin & Hunter Sizemore & Gage Agnitsch of West Frankfort Grandchildren- Richey Murray & Mike Murray and wife Jenny of Mesa, AZ Great Grandchild- Mikenna Murray of Mesa, AZ Step Great Grandchildren- Jenna & Ryleigh of Mesa, AZ Sister- Doris Morris of Herrin Niece- LouAnn Harmon of Herrin Niece- Lana Bailey of St. Louis Nephew- Bobby Ridings of Mulkeytown Nephew- Marvin Ridings of Freeman Spur Nephew- Charlie Morris of Herrin Several Great Nieces & Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four sisters and one brother. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 29, 2010 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Don Colson will officiate. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Monday at the funeral home.
