Harold Russell Crain

Energy- Harold R. Crain, 86, of Energy, passed away on Monday, September 29, 1014 at his son’s home in Smyrna, TN. Harold was born on May 28, 1928 in Energy to William E. and Nannie (Evans) Crain.  He married Peggy Gene Emery on July 24, 1948 in Arkansas.  She preceded him in death on September 16, 2002. Mr. Crain was retired after having worked many years in the maintenance department for HerrinSchool District #4 schools. He was a member of Harvest Time Worship Center. Survivors include- Son- Rusty Crain of Smyrna, TN Son- Darrell Crain of Coconut Creek, FL Daughter- Suzanne Kniffen and husband Clint of Energy Grandchild- Leanne Crain of Hilo, Hawaii Grandchild- Gary Crain of Tennessee He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one son- Daniel Crain. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 3, 2014 at Harvest Time Worship Center in Herrin.  Pastor Todd Hawk will officiate.  Burial will follow at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy.  Visitation will be from 5:00PM – 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
