Herrin- Howard Sampson, 55, of Murfreesboro, TN (formerly of Herrin) passed away at his residence on Thursday December 9, 2004 at 11:00am. Mr Sampson was born in Herrin on April 30, 1949 to Donald and Evelyn (Sullivan) Sampson. Evelyn survives in Herrin. Survivers include: Mother- Evelyn (Sullivan) Sampson- Herrin 5 sons- Jerry Sampson-Texas Mark Sampson-Texas Samuel Sampson-Texas Tony Sampson-Texas Jonathon Sampson-Texas 2 daughters- Kandy Sampson-Murfreesboro,TN Amber Sampson- Texas 1 brother- Dale Sampson- Herrin 3 sisters- Donna and Myrna of Herrin Sandra of Florida Preceded in death by his father and one sister- Brenda Memorial graveside services will be Monday December 13, 2004 at 11:00am at Herrin City Cemetery. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is handling local arrangements
