Ida Maxine Stewart

Marion Ida Maxine Stewart, 87, formerly of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at 11:50 A.M. at St. Louis University Hospital. Maxine was born December 16, 1921 in Roseland, Kansas the daughter of John & Bessie (Wooten) Vilet. She married Jack Stewart on November 22, 1980 in Clearwater, Florida and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1999. Maxine was a homemaker. She was a member of the Lake Panasoffkee United Methodist Church and she enjoyed gardening. She is survived by: Son Donald Trombetta and wife Judy of Marion Daughter Arlene Guthrie of Chicago Sixteen Grandchildren; Cindy Trombetta Tammy Krizic and husband Rob Donna Kopij Debbie Trombetta Brian Brunke and wife Melissa Kelly Laughlin Sharon Varvarezos and husband Jim Karen Altergott Sherri Gabino and husband Vito Beth Schattke and husband Nathan Andrew Guthrie Chris Hazen and husband Rusty Tracy Garcia Missy Palmer Scott Palmer Jennifer Kennedy and husband Tony Thirty-eight Great Grandchildren Three Great Great Grandchildren Sister-in-law Evelyn Vilet Five Nephews Three Nieces Preceded by Parents, Her husband Jack, Daughter and Son-in-law, Geraldine & John Palmer, Brother John Vilet and Sister and Brother-in-law Phyllis and Roy Alderman. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at 12:00 P.M. at Purcell Funeral Home in Bushnell, Florida with Rev. Michel DAnnecy officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 A. M. until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with local arrangements.
