Imogene Juanita Grider

Marion Imogene J. Grider, 82, passed away on Monday, June 04, 2007 at 5:38 A.M. at her home in Marion. Imogene was born December 25, 1924 in Creal Springs to Artis and Annie (Boles) Chamness. She married Edward Vernon Boots Grider in Jackson, Missouri on January 13, 1941 and together they shared over 35 years of marriage until his death on August 12, 1976. Imogene was a member of 1st Baptist Church and a former member of Heart Helping Hearts. She had worked at Marion Memorial Hospital in the Housekeeping Department. Survivors include: Son Charles Leon Grider of Marion Five Grandchildren Six Great Grandchildren Preceded by Parents, Husband, Son Dale K. Grider, Two Daughters Lola Ann Grider, Wanda Jean Fuller, Seven brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Mark Hutson officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to VNA-TIP Hospice. Envelopes will be available at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
