Jack C. Barnett Herrin-Jack C. Barnett-69, died 12:20 P.M., Wednesday, June 25th , 2003 at Herrin Hospital. Jack was born September 20, 1933 in Williamson County to Lemma Iverson & Edna (Conroy) Barnett. He married Mary (Tolbert) Barnett. She preceded him in death on January 4, 1992. Jack was retired, having worked for the Burlington-Northern Railroad. He was a Protestant. He was a former member of the Herrin Eagles and the Centralia Moose Club. He is survived by: Sister: Maggie Robertson of Johnston City Two Nieces: Lynn Stephanou & companion Bob Sisky of Marion Ardyce Reed & husband Michael of Marion One Great Niece: Liberty Steinmetz & husband Shane of Johnston City One Great Great Nephew: Coltan Steinmetz of Johnston City He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and one brother, Joe Barnett. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 28, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Hawk & Rev. Alan Milligan officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
