Jacqueline Sue Jackie Jobe, 81, passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 3:14 A.M. at Parkway Manor.
Jackie was born February 3, 1931 in Vienna the only child of Larry and Dorothea (Lentz) Newton. She married James Jim Jobe on July 6, 1950 in DeKalb and together they have shared over 61 years of marriage.
She spent her life tending to her home and she loved spending time with her family. She loved to play the organ, piano and violin. Jackie enjoyed gardening and raising African violets. She enjoyed her cats. Jackie and Jim were faithful givers to the Christian Life Center, TCT and TBN.

Granddaughter Misty Jobe Riddle of West Frankfort
Two great grandchildren Ethan & Hevyn Riddle of West Frankfort
Daughter-in-law Cheryl Jobe Buffington and her husband Tom and their children Wesley, Cody and Ashley Buffington
She was preceded in death by her Parents, and Son John Daniel Danny Jobe.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. David Milburn officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
