James F. Rentfro

Marion- James Frederick Rentfro, 69, of Marion, died at 1:10 AM, Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Marion VA Medical Center. James was born on December 12, 1934 in Crab Orchard to James & Jesse (Edwards) Rentfro. He married Paula Reese on November 15, 1960 in Marion. She survives of Marion. Mr. Rentfro worked as an electrician for the Franklin-Williamson County Department of Human Services prior to his retirement. He was a member of Center Baptist Church and a veteran, having served in the United States Navy. SURVIVORS: Wife- Paula Rentfro- Marion Four Daughters and their spouses: Becky Francis- Herrin Tammy & Dennis Morris- Ozark Melissa & Howard Malloy- Antelope, CA Patricia & Lee Woolverton- New Burnside Seven Grandchildren: George Holton John Holton Breanna Morris Aerial Woolverton Tyler Malloy Austin Woolverton Dolan Malloy Brother & sis in law- Gene R & Lorrita Rentfro- Johnston City Brother & sis in law- Dale & Joyce Rentfro- Marion Sister & bro in law- Judy & Don Ray- Dandridge, TN His parents preceded him in death. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Larry Shacklee will officiate. Burial will follow at East Lawn Memorial Gardens in Herrin. Military rites will be performed at graveside by the Marion VFW & American Legion Posts.
