James Riddle

Marion James Edward Riddle, 69, passed away on Friday, October 16, 2009 in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Belleville. James was bon January 29, 1940 in Piggott, Arkansas the son of Paul & Frankie (Ray) Riddle. He married Doris Vhlewald on April 19, 1972 in East St. Louis and she survives in Marion. He was a graduate of Mooseheart, Illinois High School. In addition to his wife James is survived by: Daughters: Cheryl Miller of St. Louis, Missouri Effie Crain of Benton Son James Allen of Stirtz Step-Son Bryan Liska Four Grandchildren One Great Grandchild Five Sisters: Rose Lucille Jones and husband Donald of Gun Barrel City, Texas Linda Sue Stillwell of Carbondale Patty Ann Aikman of Marion Betty Yvonne Springsteid and husband Dan of Mistaken, Michigan Mary Ann Planinc of Marion Brother Robert Ashby and wife Debbie of Berryville, Arkansas Several nieces and nephews Preceded by his Parents Funeral services will be Monday, October 19, 2009 at 11 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Eugene Bloodworth officiating. Burial will follow in East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 9 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
