Herrin- JEAN MARIE MACRI, age 47, of Herrin, passed away at 2:00pm on Wednesday, September 25, 2007 at Helia Healthcare Center in Energy. Jean was born in Herrin on November 20, 1959, the daughter of Joyce (Chiodini) Nemeth and Joe Macri Jr. Jean was of Catholic faith. Survivors include her mother and step-father- Joyce and Joseph Nemeth of Marion, IL Two sisters- Debra Macri-Clemons of San Jose, CA Lisa Nemeth of Marion, IL Grandmother- Katie Macri of Herrin, IL Niece- Joanna Wilson Nephew- David Alexander Wilson Several aunts, uncles and cousins Jean was preceded in death by her father- Joe and her sister- Christy Macri. Memorial services for Jean will be held at 11:00am on Friday, October 5, 2007 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Monsignor Ken Schaefer officiating. Inurnment will follow at San Carlo Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois or a charity of your choice for the mentally handicapped.
