Jeffrey A. Eddy

Jeffrey Allen Eddy, 18, of Carrier Mills passed away at 12:35 A.M. on July 29, 2002 as a result of an automobile accident near his home. Jeffrey was born on September 26, 1983 to John and Sheila Eddy, in Jerseyville, Illinois. He attended Crab Orchard High School and loved to play his guitar. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, John Eddy of Jerseyville, IL, mother and stepfather, Sheila and Raymond Jackson of Carrier Mills, IL, Brother Jason Eddy of Herrin, Maternal Grandparents, Charles and Genevieve Clark of Carrier Mills, IL. Aunts: Becky Mielke of Hardon, IL, Ellen Adkens of Marion, IL, and Tina Becker of O?Fallon, MO, Uncles; Kenny Clark of West Frankfort, IL, Charles Clark and Willie Clark both of Paulton, IL, and David Clark of Galatia, IL, and a nephew, Wyatt Eddy of Herrin, IL. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 1 at 10:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion, IL. with the Rev. Gaylon Parks officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2002 from 5:00 until 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
