Jennie E. Rinchiuso

Herrin- Jennie Evelyn Rinchiuso, 93, of Herrin, passed away at 12:02 AM, Monday, December 14, 2009 at Herrin Hospital. Jennie was born in Johnston City on May 8, 1916, the daughter of James Jefferson and Winnie (Upton) Dare. She married Samuel Salvatore Rinchiuso in Chicago on January 18, 1942. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1974. Mrs Rinchiuso attended Freeman Chapel Worship Center in Freeman Spur. She retired from Florsheim Shoe Company in Chicago, where she worked as a stamper for thrity-four years. Jennie enjoyed crossword puzzles, quilting, and playing cards. Survivors include her sister-in-law- Donna Dare of Freeman Spur, IL Several nieces and nephews Several Great Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister- Fern Restivo, and her brother- James Edward Dare. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 18, 2009 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Robert McKnight will officiate. Burial will follow at Freeman Spur Cemetery in Freeman Spur. Visitation will be from 6-9:00 PM, Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
