Marion Jerry Lee Murphy, 64, died Sunday, March 27, 2005 at 3:45 P.M. at the VA Nursing Home in Marion. Jerry was born June 22, 1940 to Melvin & Cora McGuire Murphy in Creal Springs. Jerry was a welder. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Jerry is survived by: One Son Chris Three Daughters: Cassandra Shannon Angela Three Grandchildren One Sister Vinnie Murphy & Richard Hall of Marion Preceded by: Parents, Two Brothers Orville & Tuffy Murphy, Sister-in-law Eileen Murphy Memorial services will be Wednesday, March 30, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Dr. Jerry Ford officiating. Military rites will be performed at the funeral home by VFW Post #1301 and American Legion Post #147 of Marion. Visitation will be Wednesday from 12:00 P.M. until the time of service at the funeral home.
