Jerry Main

Lake of Egypt Ernst Jerry Main, 74, of the Lake of Egypt, passed away on Saturday, March 25, 2006 in Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, Georgia. Jerry was born October 3, 1931 in Evansville, Indiana and was the son of Sam and Helen Mae (Sapp) Main. After a long, industrious career working in the banking industry, Jerry retired in 1999 from Banterra Bank where he had served as Vice President. Jerry was an active member of The Lake of Egypt Christian Church. Other memberships included the Lake of Egypt Country Club, Marion Elks and American Legion Post of Mt. Vernon, Indiana. In addition, Jerry was an Army Veteran and had proudly answered the call to serve his nation during the Korean Conflict. Jerry is survived by his wife Margaret. Other survivors include: Two Daughters; Rebecca Miller and husband John of Belleville, Illinois Deborah Brame and husband Jim of Fenton, Missouri Two Step-Daughters; Deborah Baird and husband Jim of Evansville, Indiana Donna Wildeman and husband Chris of Evansville, Indiana Six Grandchildren; Rachel Miller of Belleville, Illinois Jason Miller of Belleville, Illinois Kaitlyn Brame of Fenton, Missouri Sarah Brame of Fenton, Missouri Matt Baird of Evansville, Indiana Olivia Baird of Evansville, Indiana Sister Marilou Meyer and husband Lloyd of Evansville, Indiana Preceded by Parents Funeral services for Jerry will be Saturday, April 1, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Leroy Waggoner officiating. Military rites will be performed immediately following the service by Marions VFW Post #1301 and American Legion Post #147. Visitation will be Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, April 3rd at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana.
