Jessie Key

Jessie M. Key, 89, of Marion, passed away at 6:15 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2008 at The Fountains Care Center in Marion. Jessie was born on February 10, 1919 in Marion to Floyd & Eva (Turner) Travelstead. She married James W. Key on August 16, 1947 in Marion. He preceded her in death on March 9, 2002. Mrs. Key was a homemaker and a member of the Marion Church of God. Survivors include- Son- James M. Key of Johnston City Daughter- Marsha Krivanko of Marion Daughter & son in law- JoAnne & Greg Lambert of Marion Six grandchildren: Shirl Bloodworth Terra Elias Dena Jarrett Jimmy Key Jamie Thomas Amber Krivanko Twelve Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, one great grandson- Steven Bloodworth, two brothers- Loren & William Travelstead and two sisters- Helen Hill & Ethel Jordan. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Joe Elias will officiate. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion. Visitation will be from 10:00AM until time of service Wednesday at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
