Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home Jessie Richardson Draper Herrin, Jessie Richardson Draper, 95, died 8:40 A.M., Wednesday, July 23, 2003 at her daughters residence in Herrin. Jessie was born February 22, 1908 in Plumfield to Elvis & Annie (Karnes) Appleton. She first married Earl Richardson he preceded her in death. She later married Robert B. Draper on October 12, 1947 in Mississippi. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Herrin First Christian Church. Survivors Include: Daughter & Son In Law: Paralee & Joe Miller of Lakeside, California Daughter: Randee & Robert Ellis of Herrin Son & Daughter In Law: Robert & Bernice Richardson of Twin Falls, Idaho 11 Grandchildren Several Great Grandchildren Several Great Great Grandchildren Also survived by several nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; two daughters; Imogene Shaffer & Shirley Schrager; two sons, Jack Albert Richardson & Chris Alan Draper; three brothers & two grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 25, 2003 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Lee Lovett officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
