Joann Heltsley

Marion- JOANN HELTSLEY, age 79, of Marion, passed away at 5:20pm on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at St Louis University Hospital. Joann was born in West Frankfort on July 1, 1931, the daughter of Harmon and Hazel (Wood) Smith. She married S. Dale Heltsley who preceded her in death on May 25, 2010. Mrs. Heltsley was a member of the VFW and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her step-son- Dale and Pearl Heltsley of Carterville, IL Six step grandchildren Brother-in-law- Jack Heltsley Three sister-in-laws- Catherine Cook, Sue Eiseclmen, Dorothy Dunnigan She was preceded in death by her parents and husband. Memorial graveside services will be held at 2pm on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Fountain Cemetery with Rev. Jim Cockbur officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
