Herrin- JOE L. McCALL, age 71, of Herrin, passed away at 5:04am on Monday, September 12, 2011 at his home in Herrin. Joe was born in Carbondale on February 11, 1940, the son of Don and Vivian (Ellis) McCall. Survivors include his son- Bruce and Cindy McCall of Harrisburg Step-Daughter- Myra Finney of Centralia Step- Grandsons- Brandon and Austin Milligan of Harrisburg Sister- Frances and Ron Richardson of Carterville Brother- Carl and Cat McCall of Chicago Several Nieces and Nephews Ex-Wife- Joan McCall of Herrin Joe was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters- Margaret, Wanda Mae and Belinda; and three brothers- Harry, John and Fred Fritz McCall. Mr. McCall will be cremated. Private family services will be held at a later date. Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin is assisting the family with arrangements.
