John E. Pendall

Bush- JOHN E. PENDALL, age 50, of Bush, passed away at 8:44pm on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Herrin Hospital. John was born in Herrin on September 25, 1961, the son of Charles R. and Janet Marie (Hall) Pendall. Johnny had a zest for life. He never met a stranger and was proud to spend his years as a life-long woman chaser. Survivors include his mother- Janet Marie Pendall of Hurst Brother- Charles and Doris Pendall of Bush Sister- Shelia Hack of Hurst Sister- Dalonda Pendall of Hurst Brother- Mike Pendall of Bush Many Aunts and Uncles Several Nieces, Nephews, and great nieces and nephews Many loving friends John was preceded in death by his father, Charles R. Pendall; grandparents- Anna and Henry Holland, Bill and Olive Williams, and Velta Pendall; and his nephew- Scott Eric Pendall. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Aunt Peg and Uncle Jay for all their love, help, and caretaking shown to Johnny; and to Half-Jack for always being there for him. A special thanks to all the Hurst/Bush emergency personnel for all the times they helped Johnny when he needed them. Your care and compassion is greatly appreciated. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Brother Jim Rutherford officiating. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
