John Loyd Logsdon

Marion John Loyd Logsdon, 81, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 at 6 A.M. at his home in Marion. John was born February 14, 1930 in Kentucky the son of William and Estelle Logsdon. He was a Navy veteran, proudly serving in the Korean Conflict. John retired from the Arizona School District. He enjoyed anything in the outdoors, spending many hours fishing and working in his yard. He loved dogs, his family fondly remembers him always taking in strays. Survivors include; Two Daughters; Robin Humphries of Marion Tonie Logsdon of Phoenix, Arizona Three Grandchildren; Regina Logsdon of Phoenix, Arizona Megan Humphries of Marion Erin Humphries of Marion Sister Marilyn Redman of Indiana Preceded by his Parents, and three sisters. It was Johns wish to be cremated with burial at Heritage Chapel Cemetery in Evansville, Indiana. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family.
