John P. Brannon

Marion-John P. (Pat) Brannon, 46, died 8:45 P.M., Saturday, September 3, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. He was born September 20, 1958 in Marion to John E. & Christine (Rushing) Brannon. He worked as an associate at NBTY at Nutrition Plaza in Carbondale. He had managed Brannon Enterprises after his father passed away. He graduated in 2002 from John A. Logan College with a degree in Computer Science. He was a charter member of the Lake of Egypt Christian Church. Survivors include: Mother: Christine Brannon of Marion Fiance, whom he planned to marry: Diana Cervantes of Marion Former wife and friend, Tammy (Brannon) Rowden of Johnston City. Aunt: Irene Yearack of Marion. Also several cousins survive. He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. LeRoy Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow at Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Lake of Egypt Christian Church Building Fund. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
