Jon Marc Hale, age 19, of Johnston City, died Friday, August 17th at 4:30 P.M. at his residence.
Visitation for Mr. Hale will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M. Monday, August 20th at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, August 21st with Rev. Rudy Bond officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Memorials for Mr. Hale may be made to the Franklin-Williamson Human Services.
He was born May 10, 1982 in Marion to John Mark Hale & Cathleen (Chamness) Kesler. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Cathleen & Steve Kesler of Colp; his father, John Mark (& Susan) Hale and brother, Dylan, all of Marion; two sisters, Jessica & Molly Cain, both of Crab Orchard; maternal grandparents, Clarice & Marvin Chamness of Johnston City; maternal great-grandmother Minnie Chamness of Creal Springs; two aunts, Lisa Chamness of Johnston City, and Becky (& Tom) Cain of Pittsburg; four uncles, Jack Chamness of Chicago, Lowell Hale of Herrin, Steve (& Gayle) Hale of Marion, and Joe (& Debbie) Hale of Crab Orchard. He is also survived by eight cousins, Jesse Simpson of Johnston City, Michelle Pappas of Creal Springs, Casey (& Neal) Hale of Crab Orchard, Matthew (& Heather) Hale of Marion, Travis Sprague, Blake Cain, Megan (& Benji) Cain, all of Pittsburg, and several great-cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lowell & Wilma Hale, maternal great-grandparents, Lester Chamness and Mollie & Elmer Schaefer, and paternal great-grandparents, Charles & Lena Snedeocr.
