Marion- Joseph Frederick Reinhardt, 78, of Marion, died at 9:10 PM, Friday, August 15, 2003 at his home.
Joseph was born on December 13, 1924 in Chicago to Joseph & Amelia (Paul) Reinhardt. He was united in marriage to Kathryn Stowers in Chicago on December 9, 1944. She preceded him in death on June 24, 2002.
Mr. Reinhardt was a US Marine, having served his country during WWII. Joseph worked for the US Bureau of Prisons prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church and the Marion American Legion Post.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother; Fred Reinhardt.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 at Third Baptist Church in Marion. Dr. Jerry Ford will officiate. Burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Marion. Military rites will be performed at the graveside by the Marion VFW & American Legion Posts. Visitation will be from 5-9:00 PM, Monday, August 18, 2003 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion.
