Joyce Ann Morris

Herrin- Joyce Ann Morris, age 78, of Herrin, passed away at 5:43pm on Friday, June 14, 2019 at her home in Herrin.

Joyce was born in Johnston City on January 23, 1941, the daughter of Ollie and Wilma (Briscoe) Campbell. She married Dale Morris on June 5, 1964 in Herrin.  He survives.

Mrs. Morris was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Johnston City.

Survivors include husband- Dale Morris of Herrin

Daughter and son-in-law- Melody and John Kerley of Herrin

Son and daughter-in-law- Jeff and Denel Morris of Herrin

Five Granddaughters- Autumn and J.R. Dilbeck of Hartselle, Alabama

     Brooke and Chad Banks of Herrin

     Kylie and Josh DeJaynes of Carbondale

     Taylor Morris of Herrin

     Zoey Morris of Herrin

Great Grandchildren- Carter and Camden Banks

     Reece and Riley Dilbeck

     Rory and Theo DeJaynes

Brother- David Campbell of Johnston City

Several Nieces and Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son and daughter, sister- Sherrill Benge and two brothers- Vernon and Dallas Campbell.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Gaylon Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm on Tuesday at the funeral home.
