JOYCE R. SIMICH Marion Joyce R. Simich, 63, died Sunday October 19, 2003 at 8:15 A.M. at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Joyce was born June 03, 1940 to Lyn and Gladys (Korte) Lukens in Massac County. She married John Simich on June 30, 1961 in Herrin and he survives in Marion. Joyce was retired from Palmer & Murrie Abstract. She was a member of White Ash Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include: 2 Sons Jerry Simich and wife Angela of Marion Jason Simich and wife Melissa of Marion 1 Daughter Linda Stewart of Freemont, California 6 Grandchildren Rachel Stacy of Freemont, CA Elizabeth Stewart of Freement, CA Matthew Stewart of Freemont, CA Abigial Stewart of Freemont, CA Bryden Simich of Marion Jarod Simich of Marion 3 Brothers Virgil Lukens and wife Delene of Herrin Lindell Lukens and wife Juli of Herrin Geary Lukens of Herrin 2 Sisters Sue Boles and husband Jackie of Marion Karen Stone and husband Terry of Pittsburg Several nieces and nephews Preceded by Parents, 1 brother Robert Lukens Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Null officiating. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
