Marion Juanita A. Murrow, 77, passed away on Wednesday, September 06, 2006 at 2:10 P.M. at Heartland Regional Medical Center. Juanita was born October 30, 1928 to Tammel Garland & Laura (Ery) Ward in Batesville, Arkansas. She married Howard H. Bud Murrow on March 5, 1954 in Tupelo, Mississippi and together they have shared over 52 years of marriage. Bud survives in Marion. Juanita was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and she and Bud had worked together starting Egyptian Exterminating. Survivors include: Three Children; Ronald Scott of Marion Renee VanPelt and husband Kevin of Pinckneyville John Murrow and wife Teri of Marion Six Grandchildren; Alisha Oakley and husband Micha of Carterville Andy Murrow of Marion Casey Murrow of Marion Caitlin VanPelt of Pinckneyville Jennifer Gosh of Herrin Kim Scott of Chicago Sister Catherine Collie of Wenatchee, Washington Brother Paul Ward of Wenatchee, Washington Preceded by Parents, Son Rudy Scott, Two Brothers and Two Sisters. Graveside services will be Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Dave Maragni officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home is handling arrangements. For those who prefer memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home, 800 North Market Street, Marion, IL 62959.
