Freeman Spur-Juanita Nanny Bailey, died 11:50 A.M., Saturday, May 14, 2005 in Marion. The daughter of Thomas & Neva (Helms) Gentry. She married Wayne Bailey on October 11, 1946 at Karnak, Mississippi. He preceded her in death on September 22, 1991. She worked most of her life, after retiring in 1973, she was a homemaker. Survivors Include: Daughter & Son-In-Law: Patty & Mike Crabtree of Freeman Spur Granddaughter & husband: LeeAnn & Steve Ward of Herrin Great Grandchildren: Kaleb & Kylie Ward of Herrin Three Sisters: Lois Garavalia of Freeman Spur Peggy Ridgway of Freeman Spur Sharon Gentry of Freeman Spur Survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Bobby, James & Billy Gentry and sister Gloria Reed. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Don Colson. Burial will follow at Freeman Spur Cemetery.
