Juanita May Triplett, age 90, of Herrin, passed away at 9:13pm on Monday, November 25, 2019 at Herrin Hospital.
Juanita was born in Williamson County on September 17, 1929, the daughter of Edward and Ethel May (Rentfro) Norris. She married Robert E. Triplett on June 24, 1967 in Marion. Together, they have shared fifty-two years of marriage.
Juanita was a member of the First Church of God. She had retired from Norge after twenty years of service.
Juanita was known as “Teet” by her grandkids, friends, many nieces and nephews. She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family so much. Juanita was a very creative person, she loved to cook, her specialty was coconut pie. Juanita played the piano at church throughout her life. She enjoyed sewing, hunting, fishing, loved to watch the Cardinals and nascar. Juanita loved visiting and helping people, she would bring them homemade cookies. She was apart of a nursing home ministry with her daughter and great grandson for four years. She will be greatly missed by us, but she is rejoicing in heaven pain free!

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband- Arthur Lee Ramsey, one brother- Loren E. Norris, and two sisters- Lula Virginia Davis and Wilma Louise Conley, and one infant sister.
Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin with Rev. Don Colson and Rev. Dan Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Herrin City Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 8pm on Friday, November 29, 2019 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. For those who prefer, memorial donations may be made to the Herrin First Church of God. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home, 201 South 13th Street, Herrin, Illinois 62948.
