Judith Lavender

Energy- Judith Gail Lavender, 51, of Energy, Illinois passed away at 9:40 AM, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital, In St. Louis, Missouri. Judith was born on August 27, 1966 in Herrin, Illinois to Roy and Sharon (Bellard) Lavender. Judith recently worked as a correctional officer for the Department of Corrections at Menard Correctional Center and at the Pinckneyville Correctional Center. Judith was of the Christian faith and enjoyed playing cards, walking, and watching softball. Survivors include- Parents- Roy and Sharon Lavender of Energy, IL Son- Dustin Fleming of Milan, Michigan Brother- Aaron (Barbara) Lavender of Ava, IL Brother- Matt (Heather) Lavender of Carterville, IL Several nieces and nephews Beloved dog “Lily” She is preceded in death by her grandparents, sister, Rebecca Clifford and several uncles. Arrangement are being entrusted to Johnson- Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin, IL. The family plans to hold a private service at a later date.
