Julia Ann Followell

Collinsville, IL- Julia Ann Followell, 77, of Collinsville, formerly of Herrin, died at 9:40 PM, Monday, October 22, 2001 at her home. Julia was born on October 2, 1924 in Clifford, IL to Timothy & Gertrude (Wingett) Johnson. She married Robert Lee Followell on January 15, 1944 in Blytheville, Arkansas. He survives of Collinsville. Mrs. Followell was a homemaker. She attended Community Chapel in Marion when she was able. SURVIVORS: Son & dtr in law- Robert & Cheryl Followell- Memphis, TN Son & dtr in law- Delbert Leon & Lori Followell- Herrin Son & dtr in law- Gary Wayne & Rita Followell- Saginaw, TX Dtr & son in law- Carolyn Sue & Bob Williams- Collinsville, IL Nine Grandchildren Five Step Grandchildren Thirteen Great Grandchildren Sister- Edith Price- Herrin She was preceded in death by her parents and eleven brothers and sisters. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 24, 2001 at Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. The Revs. Don Colson, Ralph Brandon, and Robert Beltz will co-officiate. Burial will follow at Blairsville Cemetery in Blairsville. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2001 from 11:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Community Chapel of Marion or Messiah Christian Church in Marion and will be accepted at the funeral home.
