Herrin - Julie Ann Pahl, 37, died at 6:45 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2002 at her residence. She was born August 5, l964 in Carbondale, IL to Billy Joe and Barbara (Launch) Hooker. She married John Pahl on September 1, l984 in Hurst, IL. He survives. She was a homemaker. She attended the Community of Faith Church. She volunteered in several youth programs for youth sports activities. Her greatest joy was seeing her daughter as a cheerleader and watching her son play baseball. Survivors include: Husband - John Pahl - Herrin Dtr - Lindsay Nichole Pahl - Herrin Son - Tyler John Pahl - Herrin 3 sisters and brothers in law - Angie & Bob Powell - West Frankfort, IL Kim and Marty King - Royalton, IL Jodi and Richard Robinson - Zeigler, IL Brother and sister in law - Mike & Melanie Hooker - Royalton Father in law - John Pahl, Jr. - Johnston City, IL Special Aunt and uncle - Brenda and Johnny Richmond - Herrin Mother in law - Annette Howard - New Lisbon, WI Sister in law and brother in law - Kathy and Jeff Knox - Zepher Hills, FL Brother in law and sister in law - David and Kay Pahl - Mauston, WI Brother in law and sister in law - Jeff and Kristan Pahl - Idaho Several special nieces, nephews and cousins Many aunts, uncles and friends Special friends - Glenn and Jackie Spiller & son Eddie Spiller - Herrin Her parents preceded her in death. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Rev. Todd Greiner will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Johnson Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery.
