June Watson

Marion June Watson, 83, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 11:20 A.M. at her sons residence in Parker, Colorado. June was born May 26, 1923 in Marion to Clarence M. and Edna Agnes (Whitley) Armes. She married Thomas William Watson on October 18, 1941 and together they shared over 58 years of marriage until his death on January 31, 1999. June was a member of the First Baptist Church. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Williamson County Republican Women and Hands of Hope. Survivors include: One son Warren G. Watson and his wife Mary Anne of Parker, Colorado. Five grandchildren; Kim Watson Marks and husband Mike of OFallon, Illinois, Amy Watson Wardynski and husband D.J. of Parker, Colorado, Becky Watson King and husband Tim of Benton, Kentucky, David Eise and wife Barbara of Parker, Colorado and Steven Eise and wife Laura of Springfield, Missouri. Twelve great grandchildren; Madison, Casey, and Bo Wardynski all of Parker, Colorado, Abby King of Benton, Kentucky, Cole, Mitch, and Halley Eise all of Springfield, Missouri, Kelsey Treat and Alexa, Connor and Tyler Eise all of Parker, Colorado and Dustin Marks of OFallon, Illinois. Two nephews; Gene Watson and Jeff Stanley and Three nieces; Patty Nementh, Vicky Becker and Jennifer Stanley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Terry M. Watson, sister, Jean Stanley and brother-in-law, Val Gene Stanley. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Marion with Rev. James Kerley officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 2, 2007 from 5:00 8:00 P.M. at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home and from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at the church.
