Juttie S. Harrison, age 95, of Marion, passed away at 6:50am on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Parkway Manor Nursing Home in Marion.
Juttie was born in Olar, South Carolina on September 15, 1922, the son of Estell (Still) and Lonnie H. Harrison, Sr. He married Jean High in Marion on October 7, 1962. She preceded him in death on May 1, 2017.
Juttie was a proud United States Navy and Marine Veteran, having served during World War II. After his service, he continued his military training in the pharmaceutical department by working at the Edward Hines, Jr. Veterans Administration Hospital in Hines, Illinois. He later worked as an auto parts salesman. Prior to his retirement, Juttie worked as a locksmith, owning Harrison Lock and Key. He was an honorary member of the Teamsters Union. Mr. Harrison was a member of the Marion Third Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, two brothers- Bobby and Lonnie H. Harrison, Jr., and two sisters- Ruby M. Harrison and Eva G. Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Andy Price officiating. Burial will follow at Cobden Cemetery. Military honors will be provided at graveside. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home.
