Marion- Katelyn Danae Krumrey, age 29, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Marion, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home in Indianapolis.
Katelyn was born in Marion on June 20, 1989, the daughter of Terra Hill and Eric Frye. A 2008 graduate of Crab Orchard High School, Katelyn recently graduated from Nursing School and was employed at Manor Care South in Indianapolis as an LPN.
Kate lived her life with a passion for everything she did. Her love of music was surpassed only by the love she had for her boys. The greatest joy and light of her life was her sons- Eli (age 7) and Raziel (age 1). Her dream was to give back to others through her nursing career. She was brave and strong, never giving up the fight during her journey in this life. She will be missed by all those that knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents- Earl and Mildred Krumrey, grandfather- John Frye, uncle- Steve Frye, uncle- Jim Krumrey, Jr., and her cousin- Andre Suggs.
Funeral services to celebrate Katelyn’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. Rev. Dan King will officiate. Burial will follow at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home in Marion. The family requests casual attire for the visitation and services.
