Katherine L. Jones, age 69, of Crown Point, Indiana (formerly of Harvey, IL) died Thursday, March 22nd at 8:15 P.M. at St. James Hospice House in Chicago Heights, Illinois. Funeral services were at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27th at Mt. Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Turner officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Pleasant (Poordo) Cemetery. Visitation was from 5-9 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Katherine L. (Pavnick) Jones was born September 29, 1931. She is survived by: Her husband of 27 years, Lewis Jones, Jr. Two (2) daughters: Susan (Joe) Golec of St. John, Indiana Carla Contreras of Tinley Park, IL Two (2) sons: Chuck Gallett of Romeoville, IL Greg (Debbie) Jones of Mokena, IL. Six (6) grandchildren Two (2) great-grandchildren.
