Katheryn L. Allshouse

Katheryn L. "Kay" Allshouse of Thompsonville, IL, born October 16, 1930 in Orient, IL passed away peacefully at her son and daughter-in-law's home, Michael and Jody Herrell, in Phoenix, AZ, December 16, 2006, at the age of 76 years. Kay was preceded in death by her beloved husband, C. Donald Allshouse; her daughter- Sandra Kay Herrell; her sister- Pearl Ezell; and her brother- Joe Summers. She is survived by her two sons- James and Michael Herrell; her sister- Maxine Filkins; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Kay was a long time member of Elks Lodge 1340 of West Frankfort, Il where she participated in serving as an Officer of the Lodge and preparing and cooking meals and deserts to raise money for the charitable needs of the community. She had many friends and family there which she loved. She will be forever loved and always in our hearts. Inurnment will be at the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton, where she will be interred next to her husband, C. Donald. A private graveside service will be held.
